TRENDING NOW: Restyle Your Favorite Lengha With a Crop Top

We're officially deep in the trenches of #weddingszn. And if you're anything like me, you are probably running out of outfits for the seemingly countless events that come with each wedding. So, how can you be the most fashionable guest at the wedding without breaking the bank? Don't worry, I got you covered ;)

While I hate repeating outfits, I do LOVE restyling and recycling them. Instead of running to your closest Indian clothing retailer and spending a ton of money on an outfit you may only wear once or twice, take a minute to go through your wardrobe and find ways to get creative. Here are some of my favorite ways to style a lengha to add a fusion flair AND take advantage of this season's latest trends.

I started with this beautiful teal brocade lengha. It matches with just about everything and the embroidery adds a traditional edge to any ensemble. (Added bonus: This silhouette is flattering for almost every body type.)

1. Traditional Lengha

The traditional lengha is exactly what it sounds like — a lengha, blouse and dupatta. This look is classic, timeless and chic. Add some gold accessories and a bindi and you are all set!

2. My Twist on the Button-Down Blouse

We've been seeing the button down shirt paired with a lengha all over Bollywood red carpets recently. Many of Bollywood's leading ladies, including Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and so many more, have rocked this trend. I added a little twist of my own by pairing the brocade lengha with an off-the-shoulder button down from Express. This look is perfect for a day time wedding. Casual, yet chic; effortless, yet elegant. I added some rose gold earrings and a pair of fab sunnies to complete the look! (You'll definitely catch me wearing this look at a wedding this season)

3. Traditional & Edgy

Looking for something more nighttime appropriate? Add a black crop top with a sleek cut to add a bit of edge to your lengha. The unique cut of this top gives this ensemble the perfect modern edge. Wear this to your next reception or sangeet, and you are sure to turn some heads.
