Ashni Eats World: June Restaurant List

If you’ve been stuck going to the same restaurants in the city and need some new inspo, this June list full of all my favorites will bring all the flavor and adventure into your next dining experience.

Thep Thai

The Upper East Side has truly outside itself with Thep Thai. This is the perfect place to visit to start the Spring season with food both flavorful and colorful. Their 20 page menu (yes actually) also includes great vegan and gluten free options.

P.S When you get off work swing by weekdays from 5-6pm and enjoy their happy hour menu!

Zou Zou

Next time you swing by Chelsea, be sure to check out Zou Zou - an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant. Their fresh made bread is the perfect way start to dinner. Followed by X — Not only is their food stunning, but their specialty cocktail list is icing on the cake.

Ci Siamo

No restaurant list of mine is complete without a new Italian favorite, and this month I am just raving about Ci Siamo. The restaurant is sleek and beautiful, the perfect place for your next date night. My favorites were the X but be sure to leave room for dessert.

Casa Enrique

I continue to be on the hunt for great Mexican food in the city, and Casa Enrique definitely delivered. This Michelin Star awarded restaurant in Long Island City is the perfect place to enjoy dinner and weekend brunch.

P.S Save yourself the trek, they are closed on Mondays!

Wayan

This Indonesian inspired restaurant swept me off my feet! Their menu offers a great variety including plenty of vegetarian options. They have received so much buzzing press from Forbes, NYT, and even Vogue — and it’s more than well deserved.

Thai Diner

The Thai food scene in New York City has been killing it! Thai Diner has a breakfast menu until 5pm. If somehow that didn’t already sell you, they have a wonderful seafood bar and delicious mocktail and cocktails — perfect for the next date night or girls night.

Balthazar

While I am sure many of you have heard of this New York Institution, I just have to reiterate my appreciation!! Whether you visit their iconic bakery or the sit down restaurant experience, it’s well worth it. This is a great place to bring any out-of-towners too!

I hope you love these restaurants as much as I did! XOXO Ashni
